Installation of unfinished parquet flooring
First of all the unfinished parquet should be stored in the room where it will be laid. Unfinished parquet flooring needs a few days for acclimatising. The subfloor must be, clean, smooth, broom cleaned, free of paint, oil or adhesives, leveled/flat, and dried. The next step is to lay a moisture barrier. The moisture barrier will be a safeguard against warping and separation. After installing, the unfinished parquet needs to be sanded, stained and finished. By sanding the entire parquet floor will be the same exact height. For staining, you can go with stain with brushes or with rags. You need to make sure that the entire room is covered with stain and after that, you need to let it dry before you can apply a different coat of stain.
